Christina has owned her car for many years and uses it on a daily basis. She has now decided that it is time for a well-earned complete body restoration.
There are many areas of corrosion in the body work, particularly around the rear quarter lights, rear wheel arches, and front inner wings.
The corroded steel has been cut from the rear wings and quarter lights and new repair sections prepared. The surrounding areas have been ground down to the bare metal and the repair sections welded in to position. The repaired sections were then treated with rust proofing paint.
The front and rear wings have been painted with red oxide primer both inside and out.
The chassis crossmember has been removed, and replaced with a new one that has been painted with red oxide primer before being refitted.
The roof has been stripped back to the bare metal, repaired, where necessary, then treated with red oxide primer.
The new wings and bonnet have now been fitted and the car is ready to be painted.
